Peace shrines might only be useful for bad people. There's not much reason to not be activating the glass shrine.īlank shrines are pretty good if you have some spare blanks by the end of the floor. Still though, worth activating most of the times. It's not unusual to have something like double lead maiden with tons of other enemies on the third wave. The payoff is (usually) great, but the fight is no joke. I find myself often underestimating the difficulty of the challenge shrine. And I view 1.5 curse as a good thing, and the heart cost insignificant. Yeah I get that you lose a heart and gain 1.5 curse, but damage ups aren't easy to come by. 3.5 curse for refilling ammo is 3.5 curse I could be gaining from something more valuable.Īngel shrine is awesome, I always activate it.
ENTER THE GUNGEON WIKI SHRINES FULL
Pacifist shrine is bad early, but amazing either late when you have plenty of worthless guns, or in a Blessed run, where you can do this infinitely and always be at full health as well as cycle through guns to find the one you want (D-Pad infinite chest farming, anyone?)

I usually will do it either right before or right after a boss, so I don't lose my stones to some random mob or something stupid while I'm flying through rooms.

The only important thing about this shrine is when to use it. Always a good shrine to find, though the spawns can be very difficult and there's no guaranteeing what chest you get at the end. A small amount of curse and 1 heart container for a good damage up is tantamount to success for higher skilled players who need less health and want to clear rooms and bosses faster so they're at less risk.Ĭhallenge can be fun if you have the health/skill and can simply be skipped if you don't feel confident. With ammo drops the way they are, you very rarely ever need an ammo refill unless it's late Forge and you've been very unlucky.īullet Angel is one of the best in the game. Shell'tan out here literally being the worst shrine unless you're purposefully out here going on a high curse run.
